Overview

Immerse yourself in classic and modern Machine Learning algorithms. In this course, you get to know the theory and create your own solution for image recognition and text analysis. You’ll also amp up your Python skills and employ popular libraries for Machine Learning (such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, TensorFlow). You will learn the principles of working with neural networks from scratch and create a full-fledged web application with Keras neural network library.

 

At the end of the course, you will become a confident Machine Learning Engineer, able to apply algorithms to artificial intelligence-based projects.

 

The course materials and home assignments are available in English. Communication with your teacher will be in Ukrainian.

Required skills

- Some programming experience (ideally with Python);

- Knowledge of mathematics, including derivatives, matrix and vector operations;

- Intermediate English.

 

You will be asked to complete a test task before studying.

    • Classification with multiple classes
  • Classical Methods and Neural Networks

    • Classical machine learning methods (scikit-learn library)
    • Recommender systems with Python
    • Neural networks fundamentals. Part 1
    • Neural networks fundamentals. Part 2
  • Deep Neural Networks

    18 h • 9 topics
    • Tensorflow and Keras libraries, introduction to working in Google Colab
    • Convolutional neural networks for image recognition
    • Famous image recognition networks. Using frameworks to perform transfer learning
    • Image-based and livestream-based object detection
    • Introduction to Natural language processing
    • Recurrent neural networks
    • Deploying a Tensorflow/Keras model using Tensorflow-serving and Docker
